Te Reo Māori is a really important part of Māori culture and identity, and can be a really cool way to reach people, break down barriers and show respect. It can be really simple to start using te reo in every day speech and activities, as well as your corps and youth group. The Treaty of Waitangi is a really important piece of New Zealand history, and knowing about why and how it was created and what's happened since is essential to understanding biculturalism. Check out our resources and info on Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
At the Mission 2010 Congress, the new haka was unveiled. It was such a powerful moment and marks a significant moment in our Territory's history. Read more about the haka, watch the video and then learn it here!
